These hands-on resources will provide numerous opportunities for my growing students. The hands-on number line will provide my students with the ability to solve math problems independently. With the large magnetic math board, I will be able to model math problems to my students. With the OSMO my students' confidence will grow in number recognition, spelling, and problem solving as well as visual thinking. These activities will help students connect their learning to the real world. These hands-on materials will provide my students with the chance to tangibly work through important arithmetic skills. With the Hot Dots, my students will be engaged in building reading and phonics skills with this fast-paced game to increase reading fluency!
