100 students pass through my classroom each day, giving me 100 opportunities to help future leaders access the best possible educational experience they can receive. With the donation of a Microsoft Surface Go Tablet. I will be able to give my students an experience that is tailored to their learning needs, offers an appropriate level of challenge, and leaves them not only wanting to come back for more, but with the access and ability to drive their own learning. My students crave knowledge in a way that leaves me feeling inspired every day to be their teacher. I envision the Microsoft Surface Go Tablet will be used every single day in a variety of ways to support, differentiate, and enhance student learning. For example, in small group instruction the tablet will allow me to quickly access supplemental materials for enrichment opportunities. In addition, students will be able to use the tablet independently to access online texts, in partners to create their ted talk style book talk summative assessments, or in their book club groups for additional author-study work. During our nonfiction reading unit and argument writing unit, students will be able to use the tablet as a research tool and they will be able to access additional resources online through our google classroom. I believe the tablet will be an invaluable tool in our classroom! It will support student growth, student achievement, and provide a tool for student centered learning experiences.
