By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus through visual literacy. You will ultimately help them meet their personal goals and increase their academic achievement. Research has shown that technology increases literacy as well as excitement and a desire to learn. I look forward to using this Chromecast-enabled Vizio Smart TV as an intervention resource to take scaffolded strategies to the next level! The students I teach benefit from full spectrum visual literacy. Students will see many things modeled including accurate reading fluency, guided reading strategies, writing structure with color-coding and research-based searches. It will also be used to scaffold math standards, show strategies using virtual manipulatives to assist in mastering algorithms and decomposing word problems that often times confuse and frustrate our English Language Learners. The possibilities are endless! Having this Chromecast-enabled Smart TV on a mobile stand will allow students across all grade levels to benefit from visual instruction.
