My students do not have access to fun to read books in our library on their reading levels. I would use these during my centers for students to read and then even build their writing skills. My kids are eager to learn and just need materials on their reading levels. These kids really want to learn and try to do well in school and I think that maybe having something that isn't hard for them to read and still on middle school kids' interest levels they will try to do better and be less frustrated. I have to give a lot of breaks to help with frustration in my room so having a set of Legos, that I already know they love to do, would help them to have something they enjoy doing to help calm them from other stresses. I have a very limited supply of Legos for them to use and this will help more students to enjoy them.
