Locke will be taking 50 students to Northen California to visit seven different California Universities this includes UC Santa Barbara, UC Merced, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, Stanford, UC Davis, and Sacramento State. This trip is a four day and three-night experience and will expose our students to higher education for the first time by completing college tours and having college student panels to ask them questions about college life! This is usually one of the most eye-opening experiences that our students have since they will be first-generation college students. Many of our students do not get the opportunity to travel far away from home and let alone visit a college campus. They are highly motivated students with Please help me make this trip a reality for our Locke scholars, we will be forever grateful!
