We will be doing more group work in a guided reading setting. As well as learning math with fine motor manipulatives. Our students have autism and need new materials to excel and learn new skills. By creating a new guided reading group with new books, I will create a setting in which the students will learn pre-reading skills and beginning reading skills. I am really excited to bring in new books to engage and work with the students. There are many skills guided reading groups can help work on with our students and we just need the materials to start! There are a few math and fine motor items requested to work on other skills as well. Our classroom just needs a few items to accommodate new students in the classroom.
