National Board certification is a nationally recognized certification for educators. It is a rigorous process that involves content knowledge across the science curriculum, differentiation in instruction, teaching practice & learning environment, and becoming an effective & reflective practitioner. Teachers completing this process go through a rigorous process of taking a deep look at what they do for their students and why. This gives us a great insight of how to become a more effective teacher with all of our students, regardless of their ability level. I have already started the process, being accomplished in the area of effective & reflective practitioner. Donations of any amount would allow me to continue to process and become a National Board certified teacher.
