These Chromebooks will allow my classes to have more regular access to online activities which will help them memorize vocabulary, learn and practice grammar, and take part in interactive projects in Spanish. The computers will also allow my students to use on-line tools to research cultural similarities and differences between the United States and Spanish speaking countries and to access knowledge that is unavailable to them in other media form. Imagine being able to take a virtual tour of El Prado Museum or Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum in Madrid, Spain and see first-hand some of the artwork on display; or take a walking tour down the streets of Cartagena, Colombia; or see the wonder of the Iguazú Falls in Argentina; or the beautiful black sand beaches of Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica's Caribbean coast. So many things are available to access on-line that can help students see the Spanish speaking world through a totally different lens!
