I am moving into unchartered territory because of the school shutdowns. We are continuing to educate children in a different way for the remainder of the year, but I am not sure I have the resources to effectively deliver the material. I would like to be able to send my students videos of the lessons in a clear and understandable manner. However, I only have a PC a limited ability to record, as well as, very poor internet. I plan to show my students how to build cubes, pyramids, find surface area, volume, create shapes and understand how to use formulas . I want to be able to show my kids how I use math around the farm and apply the concepts we are studying in our geometry units. With the proper technology, I believe this will be an exciting time to be a teacher and student. I can deliver a quality education all while being at home and my students will never miss a beat as we close out this year from a distance.
