My kindergarten students love to learn! However, as we know, not all children learn the same. As 5 and 6 year olds, it is very hard for them to sit still on the rug and in a standard chair all day. By incorporating flexible seating in my classroom it gives children freedom and allows children to move appropriately while also remaining on task. Flexible seating will allow them to get their work done and get the wiggles out at the same time. It will allow them to have have choice in their learning, which in return gives them ownership over their learning.
