The use of an interactive Promethean board will allow my students to be more engaged in math. Math lessons will come to life and students will be jumping at the chance to write on it. This board will easily allow for different colored markers, different sizes of markers, highlighting, selecting, moving things, shrinking and enlarging, a page revealer, and so many more features to make lessons more engaging and flexible. This board will be a fun and valuable tool that will increase engagement, as well as understanding, for students so that their confidence in math will increase. When their confidence increases, so will their competence. I love seeing and hearing those "ah-ha" moments in my classroom when those light bulbs turn on and look forward to how this Promethean interactive board will impact that.
