This is my first year at this school and when I got to my classroom, I realized that I did not have enough leveled books for Guided Reading. Starting the third trimester, I can tell that my students have read almost all the leveled books I have, so I would like to add new books to our classroom library. New more relevant books in which my students are represented will contribute to their learning and motivation for reading. Please help me provide Guided Reading books for my students. The books I have selected will be of high interest for my budding readers and they will be able to see themselves represented in the characters and topics of the books. These books will allow me to support them in Guided Reading and comprehension as well as provide opportunities for rich conversations about the characters, the topics and their own experiences.
