With the addition of iPads into our classroom, we will be able to access technology to learn daily. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher-level learning. The iPads will help my students who are kinesthetic and visual learners. This new technology will open up the doors of education and individualize their learning experiences. The iPads will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build 21st-century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in centers with the iPads, writing, reading, working with math manipulatives and more. They will receive adaptive technology while waiting in the progress monitoring or I.E.P. process. The iPads will be an integral and amazing tool that will present new learning opportunities for every student in my classroom. Without consistent access to technology, my students are not able to access 21st-century skills. I believe that they should not be held back because of lack of funds, but deserve to explore and learn on the same level as students who have this access. Our classroom will be forever changed by the addition of these two iPads. All students will be able to access learning through technology on a daily basis - amazing!
