Jen Jones has innovative ways in which to teach and train teachers about small group instruction for guided reading. Students today are learning at different rates and need small group instruction to grasp reading and learn how to read. Jen Jones has very effective ways to do this. As a second grade teacher, I would greatly benefit from attending her conference. Her conference would further my knowledge in teaching reading to my second grade students. Reading is so important at this age. They need a great foundation to build on as they proceed in life. I also believe the better the reader, the better the writer.
