In today's society second grade students struggle with past teaching techniques and learning environments. Flexible seating throughout my classroom will allow my students to choose the best seat for their learning environment. With a variety of learning disabilities today, such as ADHD, this type of learning environment should accommodate each and every student. I am excited to make a difference in my student's learning environment and provide them with a curriculum geared toward success. I teach independent reading and classwork, which will allow students to move freely throughout my classroom and choose the best seat for them. Of course, there will be rules and guidelines to follow because flexible seating is a privilege.
