All children need a space where they can go to feel calm, relaxed and ready to face the challenges ahead. I have a few flexible seating options for my students and I would like to create an entire room of nontraditional seating options for them. As a school counselor, my room sets the tone for the entire school. I need to make it as calm, and soothing as possible. I also need to make sure that the seating used is durable enough to withstand entire classrooms during their counseling time. I believe that the seats chosen are perfect for 3rd-5th graders and I hope that you see the value in what I am trying to create as well.
