The class sets of books that are available to my students are unfortunately very limited. I would like to change that while teaching my American Literature course and provide students with books that will engage students as well as teach the necessary reading and writing skills required to succeed. I would also like to give my students who haven't had the chance the opportunity to read a full novel. Most of my students, especially my EL's, have never read a book in its entirety. This is something I would love to change starting this school year. These books would give this opportunity to my students which they otherwise would not have.
