Using these toys and equipment will help further engage my students to perform the physical activity they need everyday in a fun and safe environment. These tools can address a variety of physical needs such as coordination, balance, dexterity, fine motor skills, and core strength. This in turn will help improve their strength and activity tolerance when performing tasks such as transferring into a chair, participating in PE/recess or even just walking down the hallway. These skills are needed to help my students keep up with their peers and improve their socialization. By using these items they will help my students have fun with physical activity and movement all while learning at the same time.
