Students will engage in interactive games and activities intended to teach them valuable social skills. Activities will provide students with the opportunities to try out various examples of skills necessary for them to function productively with others. Students will learn how to identify problematic situations and brainstorm potential ways to handle these situations. Games and activities provide a low risk opportunity for students to gain new skills and strategies. Students will learn from one another. They will gain confidence in their abilities to problem-solve and make decisions. This project will provide students will necessary materials to improve social functioning at school and in the world.
