One of the most significant benefits that my students receive from theater arts is the English Language component. For many of our students, English is a second language. As students recite their dialogue and monologue having visual aids, props and technical stimulation makes reciting and reading lines a much more engaging experience than just reading in a seat. If my project is fully funded, students will create a video series of on set dialogue and monologue in the environment you have funded with theater resources provided (for example we will document the use of lights, curtains, furniture set and tech resources). As we prepare our mid year show, these theater elements donated will bring our performance to life! We will document rehearsals and the live show.
