Our band and orchestra rooms are located on the second floor of our school and the auditorium is located on the ground floor. Currently, we do not have a way to get our music stands down to the stage in an efficient manner. Additionally, our music stands do not have a "home" when they are in our room which leads to an element of disorder in the classroom. The resources that I am requesting will not only help organize our room, but will save time by allowing us to transport our stands in a matter of minutes using our elevator rather than carrying each stand individually downstairs each time we have a performance. These materials will make a huge difference. With budgets trending downward, our district is not in a position to provide these materials for our classroom. Thanks to generous donations from people like you, we will be able to focus on instructing students in an organized classroom.
