The picture books and graphic novels will be a fantastic addition to my classroom library. Students use the books in class and at home. The Muslim girls from African countries LOVE seeing books with girls pictured in hijabs. They will be thrilled to read these titles in class and at home. For brain breaks, board games are a fun and entertaining way to interact with students at varying levels of acquired English. Students from all countries can play mancala—no reading required! Bilingual picture dictionaries are vital for all English learners, especially those with limited literacy skills.
