This project, “On-The-Go Book Bags” will allow my first grade students to take home much needed age and interest appropriate books with them WHERE EVER THEY GO! The “On-The-Go Book Bags” will be a fun and exciting way that my first grade learners will be able to develop their literacy skills on a daily basis well beyond the walls of our classroom and beyond my supervision and facilitating. They will continue to develop their literacy skills. The book bags will provide a wide array of literacy genres and activities that will motivate, encourage, and develop their reading fluency, comprehension, and accuracy while developing literacy stamina.
