A kidney shaped table will be beneficial to the learning experience of my Ell students. We currently work at a rectangular shaped table that makes it difficult for me to meet the needs of all students in the group. A kidney shaped table will allow my students to have better small group instruction and it will also help me meet the needs of each individual student within the group. With a kidney shaped table, I can sit in the middle and easily see and monitor their learning process and what each individual student is doing. I can also better lead multiple students at once through my guided reading lessons, and other lessons. A kidney shaped table also allows for up to 6 students to be seated comfortably. It allows me to work and provide support up to 6 students. And further more, each student easy access to work in a group as they collaborate to complete assignments.
