Living in rural South Georgia, students do not often travel outside of our small town. Traveling to Atlanta will be so exciting and fun! We are asking for donations to help pay for our transportation to the Georgia Aquarium. Visiting the Georgia Aquarium will be a once in a lifetime experience for our students! The Georgia Aquarium trip will provide learning opportunities that are standard-based and student-centered. Students will learn about different habitats. They will learn about the similarities and differences among the habitats. For example: Can you breathe oxygen underwater? Why can’t a fish eat what we eat? What are some things plants and animals need to thrive in their habitat? All these questions and more will be answered by a trip to the aquarium. My vision for this trip is for students to not only learn about aquatic life but to be a part of an adventure of a lifetime. One that they can look back and reminisce and say "that was the best trip ever". This cannot happen without you donors. Please help us make this idea a reality.
