The use of an easel is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading. Using the workshop model in reading, the whiteboard provides a visual of lessons that will be taught daily. When teaching my students, each one needs something a little bit different from the next. Their individual needs sometimes pull them away from the whole group and require some extra attention and maybe a new approach. This traveling whiteboard easel can make that a more effective process, as I can easily then separate a small group, and give them specialized instruction tailored to what their educational experience requires to help them be successful in all that we do. Please help me to support the needs of my students. They are a wonderful, enjoyable group and they work hard every day to improve their reading and math skills, but we need your help to really make it happen. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. It will give my students that extra support they need to master the more rigorous aspects of the curriculum. They will have the opportunity to be re-taught and have individualized attention when they may be struggling and need it the most.
