I will be utilizing the Nearpod Platinum license to capitalize on my students' ability to access the information at home in order to continue to review information outside of school. They will be able to introduce the concepts to their parents and families. It will allow them to study important information while on the go. It will also be beneficial for the students to be able to move at their own pace, rather than that of the fastest kid in the room or the kid who needs extra think time. It can decrease opportunities for downtime which can increase various behaviors. It will also allow me to let them continue to learn when I am having to address behavior or help with a crisis for another student. Each lesson will be modified to fit each child's needs in order to allow them to learn the best and move at a pace that fits them. Social-emotional learning is becoming increasingly important in schools and classrooms around the country. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to find a curriculum that allows you to incorporate technology that can grab a child's attention. This license will be extremely important to allow me to increase the opportunity to build on my students' social-emotional skills in order to help them take those skills from a conversation into their everyday lives.
