Badminton is a fun, exciting game that learners at all levels can play. Each year, we have a badminton tournament with our middle school students. We create brackets, and the students compete against each other. Eventually, the middle school team who wins can select two teachers in the school to face off in a badminton game. My students look forward to this every year! Badminton is an important unit in our curriculum. Many of our students do not have the opportunity to play the game after-school or part of a club. Badminton is a sport that they can play throughout their life. Currently, some of our nets and racquets are not in the best of shape. They have been used year after year and are starting to fall apart from wear and tear.
