One of the projects my students are tasked with is creating a legal size tessellation, using design software, for display in the classroom. These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by enhancing my project-based learning environment with vibrant color. Being able to print the tessellation designs in color will allow my students to reap the full benefits of their design applications. In addition, printing geometric figures for mathematical analysis and interpretation during class instruction helps deepen students' understanding, especially if it is in color. Consequently, the addition of a color printer to my classroom will make a huge difference in what the students can conceptually understand.
