Attending the IMSE Orton-Gillingham Multi-Sensory Phonics Training will enable me to learn how to teach explicit phonics lessons for my struggling students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. This training will help cement the phonics instruction by using different techniques and manipulatives to address the individual differentiated needs of each student. This training will enable me to help many students in the future, teaching them to become more proficient readers and to have confidence in their reading ability. By learning this multi-sensory technique will benefit all learners in our school, which will ultimately affect the trajectory of their learning achievement.

About my class
