As an occupational therapist in a preschool setting, I work with 3-5 year old's with a variety of diagnosis ranging from children with a developmental delay, children with autism to children with neurological and/or physical impairments. I strive to have a variety of toys and games to engage these children that already have so many other distractions in their little lives. Its so important to me to not only address the children's needs but to make it fun and facilitate PLAY!! With a large variety of toys and games, I will be able to better service my students and teachers and make learning not only FUN but FUNctional!! Please help me build my toy chest with games and toys that will not only facilitate a variety of skills (fine motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills, sensory processing skills, self-help skills, bilateral coordination, strengthening etc.) but will also be fun!! These toys and games will also be shared with my preschool teachers so they can carry over skills within the classroom setting.
