7th grade students have taken reading and learning to an electrified level in the classroom! Typically, reading is something seen as a chore to most middle schoolers, but to this group of 7th graders, Skeleton Creek has instilled a love for reading in every student. Students can not wait to wait to get to class each day to read more of the story! They are discussing this book in other classes, begging the teachers to read a little bit more, anxious to read and discover what happens next! Students are so excited and acting so outside of the norm for reading, reading teachers are begging for book 2 in the series! Being able to have their own copy to read is vital to keeping the success and excitement alive for our readers! Because many students are not able to purchase a copy on their own, and because the book would exceed our spending budget for the year, assistance is needed from donors.
