The tables I am requesting will make a difference in how crowded my classroom is and how easily the students can transition from one activity to the next. Currently transitions are crowded and students have to walk around bulky desks and a mix of circular tables that take up a good amount of space in the classroom. Rectangular tables would give the class symmetry and a common type of seating. I also do not have an easily accessible small group area. We currently meet on the floor. Having a u-shaped table will allow me and children to more comfortably work on assignments together.
