“Integrating technology with face-to-face teacher time generally produces better academic outcomes than employing either technique alone.” - Edutopia A class set of Chromebooks could help our classroom teachers in many different areas throughout our school, providing unique learning opportunities for our students. Classroom teachers will be given the use of these Chromebooks to create personalized lessons and assessments to meet the needs and increase the knowledge of our science and math classes providing a window into career fields that utilize the skills that the students are learning. Reading and Writing instruction will be enhanced by allowing the students to work with word processing programs to edit and finalize writing pieces. History will come alive using the Chromebooks to explore our museums and galleries through virtual field trips. Our students rarely venture from our small family-rich community. The use of this technology not only will help increase academic outcomes but it will also broaden the students' perspective of the world.
