The materials I am requesting will help encourage a love for reading. All of my students are unable to read grade level text independently. Having these materials will help provide a meaningful listening center that will allow my students the opportunities to explore reading. In addition, this listening center will provide needed materials for our classroom. I have students that are not able to afford headphones. Our families are still recovering from Hurricane Florence and can't afford replacing headphones throughout the school year. I also have students that don't have appropriate sized headphones. This makes it difficult for them to utilize the technology in our classroom.
