A carpet will allow for a comfortable spot for classroom read alouds, whole group mini lessons, as well as morning meetings and share time. Students will also enjoy the flexibility of a carpet and will spend time during rotations reading to self, reading to someone and working on writing. Students will have more flexible options if our class has a carpet. Our routines and procedures will go more smoothly and students will have a more inviting environment. Having a carpet gives our class a magical place to come and explore our thoughts on life and learning. A classroom carpet will allow for creating learning spaces and comfort while learning throughout the day for the student and the teacher.
