These graphing calculators will help my students succeed at higher level algebra and statistics & probability courses. They will have their own calculator in class. They will improve their proficiency which will improve their interest in math-based STEM, financial and analytical careers. 21st century academics and careers require students to be proficient with technology to maximize both skill and sustained interest. The lack of available technology can be seen as an insurmountable barrier to students who live in poverty. With these calculators as a start, my students will become more interested in driving towards data science, analytic, and STEM careers as well as seeing a brighter future for themselves.

About my class
