I wish to give my gifted and talented theater students an opportunity to learn stage make-up application for stage performances, presentations, and career-preparation. My learners start at the very beginning with schematic practices for foundational understanding and progressing to practicing on each other, while I model expectations for understanding and application. Not only are these skills transferable for college-level theater classes, but they can also help our students gain employment in New Orleans' very profitable film and theater industry. By understanding basic to complex skills for stage make-up application, special effects make-up, bruising, contusions, prosthetic costuming, my students will be confident, independent, and career-ready!

About my class
