In this technological day and age, students relate to computers, cell phones, iPads, etc. The Chromebooks I am asking for will be used in my JH math classes (6 of them) plus an enrichment activity period class, potentially reaching some of my 125 students on any given day. Using Chromebooks on a regular basis interests students much more than just using the math book and Smart Board and Power Point. Our JH math class needs to step into the 21st Century and get on board with chrome books. The students want all the bells and whistles in their education. Having Chromebooks in our math classroom would allow all students to fine tune what they need to know, and what they desire to know. I would like students on both ends of the learning spectrum to have the opportunity to use on-line math programs that would improve skills, from basic multiplication facts, to Algebra enrichment, and all the topics that fall in between.
