This project will help 5 first grade teachers. Our district is adopting a new math series called Bridges. During the lessons, there are many materials that need to be shown to students but they are small. Having a document camera to project those materials onto the board would help us teach these lesson more accurately. There are also documents and other manipulatives we need to display for other curriculum areas that the document camera would help with. Using the document camera will assist those students who need also need the visual aspect of learning. Student impairments often require additional supports to complete daily tasks and assignments. The additional support that a document camera will provide to all students with more opportunities for better instruction and learning.
