My school is one to one with iPads for students but we currently can't use those with our whiteboards. Having an iPad Pro as the teacher iPad would allow me to "trade" devices with my students as we move through lessons so they can be solving problems in real-time on the iPad and the rest of the class is seeing it on our whiteboard. The Apple Pencil will allow students to write and draw more accurately on the iPad and not worry about making mistakes. My students love to be hands-on and retain the learning so much better when they can be active in the lesson...these items will allow them to do just that every day!
