Creating a calming area for my students will allow them the place and space to decompress. Often life's stressors can get in the way of learning and I want to be able to create an environment that allows the students to take a minute and decompress. The couch will provide an area for them to rest and take a minute to calm their mind and body. The Cozy Corner Canopy will provide a space with they can feel secure and comfortable with the stressors of the day get to be too much. These items will assist my students in being able to control and manage their emotions and behaviors in school, which in turn, will make them successful learners.
