The materials that I have requested will be used in both of the classrooms where I'm co-teaching. My students from Cary were in an English classroom with good whiteboards, a projector, and plenty of storage/supplies. Now that my students and I are at Franklin, we're in classes that don't have functioning whiteboards or storage. Additionally, one of the teachers that I am working with doesn't have a printer. Since there is only one copy machine for all of the teachers to use, we can't quickly print materials for our students to use in class. A printer will make it possible to print passages, handouts, activities, and assessments, which allows students to be more successful. With these new supplies, both students and teachers will be more successful this school year. Instead of simply discussing their warmups, students will be able to correct grammar mistakes on a whiteboard, which is engaging and fun. The teacher will be able to project their power points on a whiteboard (instead of wall or butcher paper) which allows all of the students to see easily. Also, both teachers and students can write on the whiteboards to annotate texts, answer problems, present, play kahoot, etc.
