My students enjoy to acquired language through the integration of hands on projects, coloring, poster boards, and sketching the written language. The resources would give them an opportunity to tap onto their experiences, connect to their community, and their creativity at the same time that they acquire the language. I understand the burden of learning to read and write in a language that they are acquiring, therefore, I believe that by integrating crafts into our everyday lesson it eases the burden and the anxiety of language acquisition. When students express themselves through crafts they become independent of their own education, and gain confidence in their own abilities and skills.

About my class
