I am hoping to get a carpet donated so that students will have a warm spot to learn. At the moment students are moving from desks to cold tile. We are having lessons on the floor to keep students actively learning and encouraging a more kinesthetic environment. We have been actively trying to find a carpet through district funds, but have been unsuccessful. With the winter coming, I am hoping that we can keep my students from being uncomfortable from sitting on a cold floor. With 20 students, a 9 x 12 carpet is needed to fit all students comfortably.
