I teach 11th and 12th grade English and my goal is to give my students every possible opportunity to succeed. Preparing my students for college and the real world requires teaching them how to research topics and create their own opinions about current events. In today's day and age, it is incredibly important to learn how to utilize the internet to make your life better, and that is what I strive to help my students do. My students lack the basic skills that are required of them in college or in the job market. I plan to use Chromebooks to help my students research and write about topics that affect their lives so that they can become more informed citizens.
