Our AVID program takes pride in preparing all students for college and career readiness. We place special emphasis on learning through community service. Our students use the skills of organization and collaboration to plan and execute an event geared towards the youth in our community. By donating to our project, not only will you promote leadership and citizenship skills of the high school students, but you will also be supporting our local youth and their families to come together in a safe place to strengthen the community bond we all share. I have seen how the power of service positively impacts our students and our families. Participation in this event will continue strengthen and develop our community for years to come.
