My first and second grade students are learning how to regulate their bodies and focus their attention. Sensory items like kinetic sand, flowing water, squishy stress balls, and other various items help them be successful in the classroom. Our students are at the beginning of their school careers and it is important for them to have self regulation skills that will help them for years to come! Having a variety of sensory tools also offers the opportunity for our students to build their communication skills through requesting preferred items. Join us in supporting our students as they learn through play!
