With the ever-changing world, students need to be prepared for the world they are growing up in. Print texts, paper, and pencil are useful, but students need tools that will get them ready for their future. Classroom technology can provide even more benefits and opportunities to learn than the text environment in most classrooms today. Students can create projects using various apps such as Popplet, SeeSaw, and much, much more. Students can also read the same texts that are in print, but are able to interact more with the text through apps such as EPIC. Student learning is improved when they are ENGAGED! When working with technology, student engagement is much higher. As teachers, we are able to reach students who may be disinterested in school by implementing a technology-rich classroom.
