My preschool students have varying degrees of sensory processing difficulties. Noise, commotion, and other types of sensory input in preschool setting, makes it hard for them to focus, feel safe and learn. Equipment that provides deep pressure allows their bodies to make sense of their sensory world and cope with all that is affecting them. The items above provide the necessary sensory input to help our students feel comfortable and safe. When a child’s body is regulated, they are able to focus, learn and adapt to the demands of the school environment. We never seem to have enough of this type of equipment. It’s used everyday and all day by a large percentage of our student population. Having the items listed above will make school an easier place to be for many of our children
